Billing Service for MCHHSOn December 11th, 2017 Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems (MCHHS) will be changing computer software systems. As part of this change MCHHS will be utilizing Revenue Cycle Specialists, Inc. ("RCS") to offer extended business office services. What this means for you, for initial statements sent after December 11th, RCS will be handling the billing and payment aspects of your accounts from Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems.
RCS will be mailing your itemized statements, handling phone calls from you about billing, processing your payments and establishing and monitoring any payment arrangements you may enter. All checks should be made payable to: Revenue Cycle Specialists and mailed to: PO Box 2532, Grand Island, NE 68802.
To make the payment process easier for you, RCS also has a secure online payment portal to use, as well as other payment options.
For more information about RCS, or to make payments towards your Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems accounts, the following options are available:

Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems provides Emergency and Medically Necessary Care on a non-profit and non-discriminatory basis. Our financial assistance program provides financial assistance for medically necessary healthcare in a fair, consistent, respectful and objective manner to low-income patients whether they are uninsured or under-insured. You may qualify for financial assistance if:
You are uninsured or your health insurance doesn't cover all of the medically necessary care you need
You are not eligible for Medicaid or another type of insurance
You meet the financial criteria
If you cannot pay your bill by the due date please call to set up a payment plan. If you need help in paying your bill, you can complete the Application for Financial Assistance below and return to our office.

Hospital ChargesThis list of charges reflects the standard charges for inpatient and outpatient services provided at Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems. The hospital's charges are the same for all patients, but the patient's financial responsibility for services provided may vary, depending upon payment plans negotiated with individual health insurers as well as reimbursement schedules set forth by public payers such as Medicare and Medicaid. Patients should contact our Business Office staff at 785-738-2266 for assistance. These charges may change throughout the year and do not include items or services that may be billed separately for physician services, lab, diagnostic services, etc.
